Best Lubricant for Bearings?

Remington Spray lube with PTFE. It drys like a film and is teflon impregnated. Smells good too!

3 in 1 oil, sewing machine oil, paintball oil, something like that. You may need to do it a little more often. It's not a really thin oil but it's not thick either. It's a nice midgrade viscosity. It's what I use and it works well in the rigors of off-road as well as the smoothness(that I don't have) of onroad. I used it in my XXXS G+ when I had it. The only bearing I have ever had fail on me were in my clutch bell on my 1/8th buggy. Other than that, mine all work great.

I use Mobil 1 in my bearings. If your shocks leak and you add Mobil 1 to them, it can often stop the leakage.
If you use Militec don't let it touch any o-rings or rubber seals (for example your shocks) not unless you want leakage.
PS. You don't want "slippery" oil in your shocks. No Teflon or anything like that. Teflon makes the balls skate inside the bearings, creating heat and premature wear. Balls in ball bearings are supposed to be turning not slipping.

For those guys who are using Mobil 1, can you tell me how often do you have to re-oil your bearings?
My friend have tried that before but the bearings die very quickly (less than 3 months )

I use Kluber Lubrication Paraliq 91...it`s a high performance oil spray used on high speed industrial knitting machines.
Bloody fantastic stuff
I`ve also used automatic transmission fluid
Cheers

depends on a few things:
-how often you clean the dirt of the bearings that stick around it,
-how often you tear your car down.
-were you race (is it dusty? do you race with foams?)
-how you oil the bearing (i oil it, let it sit a few days, then oil it again)
bearings shouldn't die in 3 months. but if they are metal sheild only you have to clean them more often. get a set of rubber sealed jobbers if you kill bearings every 3 months.

another oil I used in the past was a gun oil called Break Free. It breaks up gunk in the bearings really well, it seemed like you could run the bearings cleaner.
