ok what better boxers or briefs..... and for you freaks out there thongs
I find that wearing boxers is more free flowing when racing. And since I'm a big
guy briefs wind up being a thong anyway, soooo i hate those!!!!!!


this is about as useful as belt or shaft

I have been out of the TC carpet racing for about 2 years (been 8th scale offroading). When I was racing the shaft drive cars seem to be fast out of the box without much modding. The belt cars including my XXXS seem to require more upkeep to keep the car free.

I like chain drive the best as smooth as a belt with the durability of a shaft. I heard a Major manufacturer is currently testing a prototype

The first Optima (Off-road 4WD) kits from Kyosho were chain driven back in the mid-late 80s. They had to phase it out because the chain puts to much pressure (chain weight) on the motor and diffs. That's why they replaced it with belts on their newer models.

Well I dont think there was a thread on telling the differences, advantages and disadvantages Belt VS shaft in general, not by chassis, in the same fourm.... so i guess it is reasonable. If it was like wich car should i get, then thats already been posted.

Seriously though I have found shaft easier to be fast with in stock and lower classes and belt in Mod where the directness of the shaft can be a problem
