no i only roomed with billy at the carpet nationals and pitted right next to him at the reedy race.

and anyone could get it done the way he is. All of his development and parts being made is ocming out of his pocket. so if you really wanted to design your own chassis go for it and get it cut out

Default Qual Points

For those of you who want to see the Qual Points, here they are with 1 drop and no drops.

Please check the heat sheet carefully for frequencies, I messed with that code during the Reedy Race to try to make the european frequencies coexist with our frequencies and I messed something up. So anybody on 27mhz should make sure their frequency is clear. Part of the problem is people sign up and they always list 1,2,3, and there are 6 or 7 guys in some races on 27mhz.

Keep it going Billy! TQ in Mod, 2nd in 19t.

Matt is defending 19t champion, and current TQ in 19t. Great job!

So the 1st day of qualifying is now in the books. We had a delay near the end of the first round as the timing loop started to fail and miss some transponders. Billy Bowerman was busy building a bridge for a backup loop when we found the problem.

It turned out to be a faulty connecter and with a hot iron and some solder, we were able to quickly repair it and get the program rolling again.

I was only able to take a few pics today, I tried to get some action shots from a few different spots on the track.

Here's something you never want to see coming from your car - a thick cloud of smoke.

Rest of the pics are now available at http://www.gearchart.com/index.cfm?f...es.pickgallery

I found the frequency problem!

Javier used an online signup, and I added a feature to the program to import his data. People could type in any frequencies they wanted, so some typed in 'Brown', some typed in 'BROWN', some 'brown', some #1. Of course PC's are case sensitive, so 'BROWN' is not equal to 'brown', so the software isn't catching the conflicts.

Also saw "Spektrum", "DSM", "dsm" and "Specktrum". DOH. No Nomaradio's ?

So I think I have it fixed and hopefully Javier can post a new heat sheet at the track.

The races that need attention are 6,8,20,22,23. Remember per ROAR rules, the lower qualifiers have to change frequency if there is a conflict.

I see the guys running RC Scoring Pro stickers seem to have an advantage, they include Billy Easton (Yokomo 'Ono'), Matt Francis and Todd Hodge (Losi), Barry 'Fabulous' Baker (AE), Bobby Flack (XRAY) and Josh Numan (Tamiya). Thanks for running those stickers! BTW, Hello Numan!
