Personally I think this question is as useless as asking what color is best.

It is highly subjective and will only result in endless discussions.

Each car is different and so are the circuits on wich you run them.

You won't get an answer on this forum. This question is asked so many times! Just go to your LHS, or order something on the web. Only see if the service is OK and spare parts are available.

See for yourself, and good luck with your choice.!!

Hi Guys,

Just curious, do you guys want to start an "official" what car to buy thread? I see this same question asked over and over again every week, while it does get frustrating at times, but there are some that just need more input/opinion/view/suggestion to help with their purchase. So instead of a thread being started everytime someone needs that kind of information, we can consolidate it all to one thread. I'm sure the thread will stay on the first page visibly with no problem considering how many times a similar individual thread is started each week. Let me know what you guys think and I can get one going

I agree. And all the discussions (if you can call flaming that) should bring up some good points about each and every car.

I love these threads.

All cars are good. If you know how to tune and maintain a car, then you will be fast with that car. At my track, 6 guys run within a few tenths per lap, and everyone has a different car from a different company. Only cars I would stay away from is the Yokomo LCG on carpet and the Losi on asphalt. LCG is too soft for carpet and Losi is too stiff for asphalt.

well here is my 2 cents worth i own both the xray fk05 and the corally rdx and for anyone that knows me i have been a pretty much die hard xray guy since i have owned all the models they have had out so far. until i bought a rdx from some one i know and it opened my eyes to a different world cause that car is flat out fast not to say the xray fk05 isn't any good because it is fast also just seems the rdx is more forgive even if you overdrive the car alittle but the xray isn't it seems to be faster when your smoother with it so my choice would have to be a rdx iam very impressed with the car i'l probaly catch alot crap after this post but oh well life goes on

I think that is a good idea, it comes up every couple of weeks anyway.
