Default Overly Tight Front Belt

Hey guys i havce an FK04 it hasnt been raced in about 3months
I took it out yesterday but i noticed the front belt was Extremely Tight

Heres a list of what ive done..
1) Made sure no twists in belt
2)Made sure the diff hasnt slipped out
3) Checked That bulkdheads werent warped

Could it be coz i havnt raced in a long time that the belt has just gone tight

It is the Hi-Performance front skinny belt

Any Help appreciated thanks

Actually its quite normal for a belt to tighten itself after a some time.Reason being ,when you run your car the belt will be loosen. However, after a long time sitting there, the belt returns to its normal lenght.Thats why you feel that it quite tight. Go run your car using a hot modified!I believe the belt will surely loosen up.

My 2 cents.

Maybe you can check you front CVs.Sometimes they do make chattering noises. It happens to me sometimes. That means I got to take out for maintenance...

Or you may have a very warped spur gear.run your car at low volts and see whether your spur runs true.Slight warp is ok,but not excessive warp, that will also produce sound and kills the tranmission efficiency.

My 2 Cents....
