Hi All,

I've recently purchased a TA06 Pro not long ago. I'm experiencing some issues with front wheel chatter on full lock and full throttle, it will make the car vibrate pretty hard and I can see my belt getting all wonky. When the wheels are straight or not full lock it runs fine.

It does not do it when the wheels are not on the car either.

Any idea what the problem is?

Are you maxing out the angle on the front cvd axles? On the ta05 which i had that had tamiya cvd axles they were prone to vibrate on full lock.

Most tc's do this,try turning down your steering epa on your transmitter til it's gone and then tune your cars suspension to get it to turn how you want it to.

Alright, thanks for the responses.

I'm going to rebuild the front tonight and see if the problem still occurs.

If it still does, I guess I'll just have to deal with it and adjust my steering accordingly.

It's to expected if you're running a front spool (which you probably are) along with standard cvd's (which you probably have).

On the bench it'll look really bad but it's almost unnoticeable on the track. You could look into some double cardan joints (dcj's) for the tamiya cars and that will eliminate it almost completely if it bothers you. I believe Spec-R makes a 'universal shaft drive' for the tamiya.

Sealed gear diff both front and rear.

The front gear diff... Does it have thick oil?

But yea after the rebuild, drive it to see if you notice anything. It won't be nearly as bad as it sounds on the bench.

I'm still using stock cvd's on my xray t3 mod car and while it sounds bad on the bench, it's not nearly as bad on the track.
