Same Thunderpower 6000mha in both of them. I left the body off because there is substantial weight difference between the same bodies depending on how much paint somebody uses.

ICIRC A 05 NSX LW is 60 grams, a Protoform speed six is 80.

Thunderpower 6000 65c. A little pricy, but it's my go to sedan battery. Car is ready to hit the track w/ four body pins and a body.

Are you using the plastic parts that came with the kit?
Throw away the plastic uprights and hubs!
The car runs awful with those...

I have 72/54 on mine. It took about 90 seconds with the dremel tool on a $4 plastic part and the motor screws to get there.

Just finished our 2nd round of TAC qualifiers. Field was 2 TB04s, 2 TA05v1, 2 TA05v2 (TB03 didn't show up to play)... and i can say that TB04 is a contender and can keep up with the TA05s...

Q1 was taken by a TB04
Q2 taken by a TA05v1
F1 = TA05v1(1st), TB04 (2nd), TA05v1 (3rd)
F2 = TA05v1 (1st and 2nd), TA05v2 (3rd)
F3 = TB04 (1st), TA05v1(2nd and 3rd)

Top 3 finished with a 1-2 record (drop 1) but the TB04 took the win with the fastest time

Race rules: Tamiya TBLM-01 12T motor, Tamiya TBLE-01 ESC, Tamiya 2200mah LiFE batteries

Does anyone know how much a tb04 chassis without body, wheels or electronics weighs?
