AE and LRP Split in the US

We make a dedicated 1S ESC in the future but the first model will support 1S.
Closer to HW.
Yokomo is the AE and Reedy distributor for Japan.

The case resembles a Viper ESC, and they're made in Taiwan, so.... built by Viper?

Rick stated the hardware design isnt finialied and that sound for me it will be more a indipendent design and manufacture. I hope the new ESC will stirup the marked.
Rick you what is the main focus of the ESC? mod or stock or offroad? Or can we download a specified firmware for each scenario, like the LRP Flow?

Most manufacturers, including Reedy, contract with a company to produce a product for them built to their specifications. Almost nobody actually manufacturers their own ESCs in house.
The ESC should be adjustable for the normal applications so you won't need different firmware for off-road and on-road (for example). The braking action (drag brake in particular) required for on-road and off-road is a major problem when dealing with one firmware but we have devised a very good solution that gives the user a great deal of freedom to play with the feel..

So by that post do you guys get the feeling that it is being built by whoever build Vipers?

I know Rick and his crew are smart enough to fix many of the problems that are out there with most ESCs. I don't really care who makes it as long as it works the way i want it to. I was only worried if Viper makes it for I have had Vipers blow up due to loose solder bits in the case short something out.
