I have raced there but not with the F201. I would think it can be deadly for open wheel cars. It's a small track with lots of tight turns and tough boards.

I've received my F201 yesterday
I finished to mount the gearboxes (I'm waiting for the Eagle Chassis)
the diff action is very smooth (I installed the Tech Racing Delrin outdrives) but the transmission doesn't feel so good. perhaps because of the bearings...
Would it be a good idea to breakin the transmission for a very long time?(10hours @2,5V)
Thanks

Not for 10 hours, this is what I did....
First battery pack, 1/ 2 speed 5 minutes, checked temp. let everything cool off and check diffs/tranny/steering.
Second pack ran almost full speed and not at full speed londer then 5 seconds, then check everything including temp.....
3rd ran at full speed but not at race level did tweaking at this time, checked temp.
4th Race level.... ( Between 4th and 5th replaced lower arm because I got a little too cocky with car...
5th All broken in... I check the motor and battery temp after every run now... I've found 1 of my packs had a dead cell this way..

Just got some shock oil. I got 80 and 90 weight. Thinking on using 80 in the front and 90 in the back for my F-201. Im using 3racing aluminum shocks. What do you guys think on this combo? I new to this whole F-201 thing.

KD, this schedule is conflicting to Steve of Speedtech RC's F1RL 4th race. Maybe you can convince him of running the race there instead.
Sort of killing 2 birds with one stone. Just a suggestion.

The weight is a bit high. Even during the summer with the three hole pistons.

Good round yesterday for F1RL. Too bad the rain came down. If the pits were covered, I would have stayed and drove my car on the damp track.

Yes, just so long as we get one round of qualifying in, the race counted. We did and basically you finish were you placed after that round.

Slowpoke come on down and say hello

I'd love to come on down and race with you guys in Burien. Sundays are kind of hard for me to make very often, though. Is F1 run at every race? I get the impression from the website that it may not be. I would hate to make the drive down and find out I picked a day F1 is not being run. I already made one trip down to buy some parts and found out the parts dept. is now closed on Saturdays. Do you race all winter, rain or shine? The track is outdoors but under cover, isn't it?
