Yes. The kimbrough spur is identical to the Team Associated spur.

What kind of top speed can you expect with this car if you put in a 17.5 with an FDR of 4?

The different classes from ROAR 17.5,13.5, etc are meant to limit power?

Again....the noob questions

Hey ther are apps that work all of this out. Ading wheel size motor spur and so on gives you aprox speed. Though to be honest im not sure how accurate it is.

I wanted to get a cheap but not RTR onroad car and I was about to pull the trigger on the Hobby King Turnigy TD10, which I know is just a re-branded Sakura Zero S, then I found this http://www.rcmart.com/3racing-sakura...cPath=420_1417 Sakura XI Sport for $79, that's cheaper than the HK car after international shipping, is the XI Sport significantly better than the Zero S?

EDIT: Well partial nevermind, guess RCmart is one of those gouge you for shipping places too, so it's about the same price, question still stands though, is the XI Sport significantly better than the Zero S?

Go with the Sakura Xi.... it's a much better kit! I've got 2, and I run them...asphalt, in USGT.

If you have raced before then go with xi but remember zero s is practically bullet proof. So that is something to think about if you are new to racing.

Never had a Zero, but XI Sport is great. Hop-Ups are inexpensive and it's competitive with the high-end brands.

I found the Rear Hub to be the weakest point (ball connector pulls out), but it's easily fixed with a longer ball connector.

Default sorry to ask this question again

What are the need hop ups for this chassis?
Are the turnbuckle s better then the zero s?
do you use the same set up as the zero s for carpet? What setups are you guys using?
is the battery holder better then the zero or do you have to rig something up?
any tips in building this kit?

Picking up a Sakura XI soon to start racing in 17.5 sportsman. Besides getting full ball bearings, would upgrading to the floating servo mount make a huge difference? Which other extra parts would be useful when i start racing? Stabilizer set? Front end parts?

Going to run it with a Futaba 3pl, FEETTECH lowlrofile servo and sp reventon r+V3 mmm 17.5 motor. Hopefully i'll be set for a while. And all for about $300.

Will it be a wise choice to buy Sakura XI Ultimate 2014 USD 249 which is full hop up kit than the XI Sport?
