Does the Revtech lightweight endbell fit? If so, it's your answer;

It's been stated that the initial batch(es) of Killshots had the faceplate drilled incorrectly. The problem has apparently been rectified on the latest motors.

Same with the timing ring being a tick too large.

Weird considering I have one motor that is an rpm and is from the original batch and a torque that isn't.(the one pictured)

Trinity is sending me new end plates. Good resolution and customer service IMO.

Anyone run this motor on a smaller track size, similar to snowbirds per say. 100x50? I know they ran 3.5 fdr 55degrees timing at nats, which is a decent amount bigger than what im asking. Trying to figure out how much of a gear change will be needed to keep the ol killshot from going poof. Thanks

Ok, its interesting how much lower of a FDR you run with these motors and even the D3.5 than other motors in the past, but they still pass ROAR specs so they must be close. Yes the fans have improved, but 5 teeth on the pinion is a jump. The winning D3.5 at the birds (EA) was at a 3.95, thats 5-6 teeth less than what your suggesting, boggles my brain.

The D3.5 is downright illegal therefore the increase in HP. The killshot is legal to roar specs. And also has great power from what I've heard. I believe a big increase is from the added holes for far better cooling therefore they can be pushed harder which increases HP. Jmo

The D3.5 was approved by ROAR as well, I hope the folks at ROAR and their infinite wisdom don't pull the same stunt again!

They are the same motor! Fantom tunes them and put his labels on Killshot motors. Fantom offers various options, Rotor changes between Torque or broad band rotoes and stators.
