Can anyone tell what what the front stock spring is close to when using associated springs? Also I have Tamiya rear side springs, which one would be close to the stock side spring? I got the car second hand in a trade and did not come with the stock front springs or rear side springs. Any help would be great, Thanks!

I have 3 mm under the posts right now. I cut the middle out the center plate and run my servo horizontal. No clearance issues at all, steering is still balanced and very smooth.

Is there any updates on when the steering uprights will be back in stock. I broke my left one at TQRC and luck would have it, I found a pair all the way on the land down under (Australia). I see that most of the spare parts are easily attainable except for the upright. I've read this whole thread and didn't seem to come across steering upright shortage. thanks

Love the write up! The reverse mounting of the ball stud is perfect and flipping the uprights gives you a nice lowering effect on the steering arm ball stud. And I too will fiddle with the steering link to get my car to turn left and right at the same rate without jacking with the left or right end point on the transmitter.

Stock front spring is pretty good, might want to try the AE .22 or .20. Side springs I would say are close to the AE 5.00 lb 12R5.2 kit springs, pretty stiff, and you'd want to go a step or 2 lower in the stock position. If you use the wide carbon brace and mount the springs outboard, get the 3.75 set.

Hi, I have a huge problem with this car, my problem is that in fast corners the car seems like they do not step on the front. That I can do to fix this?. Thanks and sorry for my poor English

Front springs are like a tamiya silver or ae .016. I'd try tamiya silver side springs

The wheels are used front and rear ride s1. The track has little grip and asphalt. The problem is that in the fast corners the car, gives the feeling that the front wheels do not support and tends to understeer

OK, more information.

What is camber, caster, front spring rate (hard, medium or soft), side spring rate?

Usually an on power push at initial turn in is too much front spring, not enough camber or too hard a tire.

Add camber 1 to 1.5 degrees. Try a known good set of front tires from a friend if possible.

I've been thinking... do you guys add weight to the front of the SP-1? I have a Juststock ESC in the back and a shorty up front, almost right against the servo plates. The car is VERY light in the front, though. Do you guys add weight to try to achieve more 50/50 weight balance?
