Your English is 100% better than my Finnish

I've seen mine say problem with cells etc so try this,

clean the small wire contacts that touch each cell. I use a fibre-glass pen to remove oxidisation from the tips that touch the cells.

let us all know if comes back to life

You may need a real comport on the computer. Have you tried using the USB cable?

I suggest fixing that wire... or getting a new wire first, and re-updating the firmware, if that doesn't work, then u may have to send it back to spintec. sigh... its been over 8 months, and no updates... i hope this charger becomes excellent before nimh becomes unwanted.

Default 8 months and no updates

8 months and no updates, but 1.5 years and no lipo support. I think spintec will release a new update when nimh is obsolete.

It's a shame that people spend $300+ on a charger and have so, so, so many issues.

How come erik hasn't been on the board in a year?

that's a good question, he hasn't exactly handed things down nicely. i have waited everyday since 2004 for this charger to come out.... then bought it when it did... and waited everyday after that for more updates that were promised and fantasized about, like charge and discharge curves... lipo support... sigh... it hurts not to hear anything...

Probably because they do not have anyone to write the software. They have a job posting for a software engineer now on the site.

I had one of these when they came out. great potential for a charger but the battery clamp system is way crappy. And it will not charge lipo yet. Hope they get it worked out. Maybe then I would buy 1 again.

Default software engineer

I am sure that spintec can hire a freelance engineer to create an update. I don't think they have enough projects for a full time developer.

It seems that after the initial design had issues (very serious issues,) very little was done to fix those, and now the development seems to have stopped.

Again, very good idea, badly executed and not supported.

funny they know to come to rctech to sell their products, but not know to come to rctech and tell us when an update is expected, or what could be expected in the next update.
