Most are running either the Tamiya Ferrari F60 or the McLaren. I am sure there will be a shift to the F2012 when it arrives

I just bought a tamiya 104 v2 and I am new to f1 cars. My first question is the rear axel height i believe the options are 1,2,and 3. I put the 3 making the car the lowest. the second question is which spur do people run? any help will be appreciated

Usually you will want to run the #2 insert, unless you are trying to put rake in the chassis.
As far as gearing final drive will want to be somewhere between 2.75 and 3.0

Use the insert that gives you the desired height with your choice of tires.

Next stop on the UF1 schedule is next weekend March 23rd & 24th at HotSlots in Urbana. A new layout is going in this week that will promise good racing and a nice flow. Our track is a little smaller than Harbor and Toledo so it will be tighter than the first two stops (think Monaco).

I will post a tenative schedule and hotel info today/tomorrow.

I have arranged for a guest announcer that will be sure to liven up the program as well.

See everyone next week.
