the belt is above the battery, look close and you will see it.

Yes that I can see too but what about the bottom, how does the belt feed under the battery?

is the bottom part of the belt is above the battery... that means there's a belt tensioner that pushes that up.

Lonestar thanks for the direction. I think I will stick with the TT-01. The only thing I don't like about it is that there is a lot of slop around the steering and general feel of the chassis. It drives well enough for my purposes, but I always loved the look of the blue and carbon fiber

This is a really good deal though... the guy is selling a never assembled kit, Mamba ESC, Dynamite 5700, servo, TRF Dampers (special blue), front one way, those blue clear parts... for $275.

I wish New England had more tracks around the area...

that car is gonna be pretty crazy... but a saddle pack lipo would be a better solution, then you can remove the belt tensioner for the rear belt.

the bottom portion of the belt is definitely above the battery. look closely in the pic, you'll see it.

ya i see it too, the bottom part of the belt. i believe i can also see the top part of a rear belt tensioner too. how much will this be in US dollars?

but how come no carbon shock towers? i already have them on my 05R, in fact they were one of the first few upgrades to my car.

I don't read Japanese very well, but I can see that in katakana that flier says "TA05 Drift Conversion Kit". With weight distribution like that, it probably doesn't have enough rear grip for even a 13.5 class.

Hey Everybody,

Been following this thread for a while now, but never posted pictures of my car so here it is!

I've added nearly every tamiya hopup minus titanium suspension shafts and the transponder holder as I found no need for them. You may ask where the carbon parts are? In the class I race i'm not allowed to have them so im saving them along with a Xenon racing chassis for when I move up. I've been racing the 05R every week and its been delivering race wins consistantly. Feel free to comment or ask me anything about me beast

Hi guys.

not too sure whether this been mentioned before.
im actually wanting to buy the aluminium suspension mount for my TA05.
some questions before my purchase.

1) do i need to buy the "415 front bridge" type for the belt to go through ? or the stanadard one will do just fine for all 4 mount.

2) how many degree is between 1A and 1B. i believe each alphabet in difference is 0.5degree ? correct me if im wrong.

3) what is the difference between 1A and 1XA ?

Thanks !
