It definately takes away from the car for me if the belts are unequal, but I am still very interested. I assume Tamiya has done testing and felt that a aslightly shorter rear belt was needed.

yea, thats kinda what i noticed... i couldnt think of anyone else that might. my first direction was to Speedtech, and Ultimate... even tried some of my lesser used ideas, but nothing. RCMart shows them, but their service has been a bit unreliable in the past for me.

i just thought of callin SIR... doubt it, but its worth a shot, i guess!

if the belts arent equal..and the motor is further back.. this is closer to being a "refined" 415MSX/MRE that it is a TA05. the one thing that sets the TA05 apart ARE the equal belts.

great explanation on the belts adrian, too bad im not masami and i cant feel that much i think ill be with darkseid on this one... equal belts = purchase

belts aren't equal = no purchase

i want a high end TA05 not a refined 415 (i already have one of those. )
