My chassis protector was starting to come up in a few places so just took it off. What is the best method to get all the sticky residue off the carbon chassis?

I would try WD40 before anything else. Works for sticker residue on bodies as well.

Acetone or finger nail polish remover (same thing just smells pretty) will work the best.

Several highly qualified people (with degrees in related domains) told me they avoided as much as possible to use acetone on their CF plates of any kind. It may not damage the plate visually but the damage to the resin / fiber could be very real.

The only use I would make of it is maybe to remove fresh stains of CA glue when the edge prep goes a little wrong. Just a drop on a Q-tip.

Acetone can be bit aggressive. Goo gone is great and won't ruin the carbon.
