Default Xray T2 07-08-09 questions

Can anyone give me an overall quick overview of the differences between the T2 models. As far as rubber vs foam goes I know that the foam car is stiffer with less flex. Here's what I'm looking for: 07 car as the starting point, 08 car, different mounting point for shocks, different hardness for lower arms. etc. Are the 7 8 and 9 car parts interchangeable? If not, what won't fit what?

I currently run an 08 for VTA and have recently sold my 07. The parts are mostly interchangeable. The biggest difference is that starting with the 08 it is easier to get a standard 5000ma lipo pack to fit as you can get the raised top deck. Otherwise you can run a smaller lipo pack and grind a little of the aluminum for a better fit on the 07.

07 was a progression from the original 06 car.

08 is a new car. 09 is just an orange version of the 08.

The suspension arms, mounts and hubs are inter-changeable among 07-08-09 as well as the bumper. However bulkheads and shock towers are not inter-changeble with the 07.

Of course everything is inter-changeable between 08 and 09.

Thanks guys...I bought a T2 a year and a half ago and forgot what it was... Never raced it or did anything to it. I'm thinking it's an 08 (it's not orange). Is there a quick visual look, other than the orange, to tell what year I have? I'd post some pictures but don't know how.

The 08 & 09 T2 has the layshaft pulley on both sides of the spur gear. The 06 and 07 have the layshaft pulley all on one side of the spur gear.
