Not sure how you are balancing the weight of that Orion 7200 (my scales have that battery at 320g). I couldn't get the car to balance correctly. I choose to use the 6000's. Even the Orion 6000 is heavier than most lipos.

I added a 15g weight on the front left side in front of the servo. I also slid the battery as close as I could to the center, versus letting it hang off the right side. My other 7600 packs are alot heavier and I cant get them to balance either. Hope this helps

I also added 15g weight to the left side, 20g yokomo center weight and I would still need around 35g on the left behind the motor to get it some what close. Put your car on digital scales its way off. Hope it works out for you.

I personally wouldnt. The car already has alot of traction. But just to try it, maybe a .05 mm shim or less

The rest of the adjustments will have to be done on shock collars. I don't use scales, just tweak station.

Hey someone that have a good setup on a very technichal medium grip carpet. I'm looking for a setup thats not is agressive and haves alot of steering. I'm thinking that i just can make 3 degrees toe in rear and a speed body and so ad 0,5-1mm to the inner camber link. What do you guys think?

Ran a couple of diffs in last light with the new DB-500GOB diff rings,
They built ok and are very smooth, more importantly no leakage

Will monitor over the next couple of weeks to see if they swell

Always good to hear peoples feedback, don't think we get that enough on this thread. I have been running the new BD-500GOB o-rings for a while, so far so good

Ran the ali chassis and short shocks for the first time.Did not know what to expect as last time ran on carpet was 6 months ago been on tarmac.
Car was really good to say dont get to have practice much onlu on race days, but the shocks and chassis will be staying on.
Car was fastest during practise but think i could of done with a harder tyre(rubber) just to get rid of traction.Raised the lower arms etc reduced toe all helped just harder oil to try next in shocks.

I have them in one diff, 3 meets old. They don't leak much but they have started to bind. Only used with xceed oil.

I have 550 oil in my car. I was thinking of going softer, but will probably stay at 550 since you were thinking of going heavier.

A quick question, I recently bought my first ever yokomo (after owning Associateds, Tamiyas and Serpents over the years) and can honestly say I'm an official convert and won't be going back.

I built my 14 Black Series on the weekend, and the rear end doesn't seem right, I have the camber links built to the suggested length of 50.5 mm but it fits so snug that the rear drive shafts are pushing heavily into the rear out drives. The rear belt is sitting snug not too loose or tight. The rear arms don't move up and down freely because the out drives and diff are effecting being "pinned" by the drive shafts.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so how is it fixed?

Cheers
