Sorex are definitely better. For me (and most others) the sweeps are only fast for 2-3 runs. But the tires work pretty good for the first few runs.

Thanks. I usually prefer Sorex over all. Just wondering on the consistency of the Sweeps. Weather pending, I'll give them a go this weekend vs my Sorex.

The front weights have BD7 stamped on them, I assume they came out for the BD7, the centre weight is from the BD5, which has BD5 stamped on them also. I ran 20g at the front at the weekend, and it definitely improved the car, it felt better on the sweeper at the end of the main straight on my local track, just felt better all round, was on pretty worn tyres as well, so give it a try and report back. I have ordered the centre weight to try for this weekend, this replaces the battery stop, will be interesting to see how it goes

On TC I feel they are less consistent than Sorex. Although I do use the sweep inserts. I'm curious to give Pit Shimizu a try. Their M chassis and f1 tyres are really good. Never tried them for TC

You must have a newer weight set. Mine does not have BD7 stamped on them as they are older. The shape of the weight also gives a clue to the origin of them. Just look at the shape of the BD5 chassis' s. Anyways I've been running them and they are great. However I've been on Green/Green springs. I cannot find my old HPI Silvers and cannot find a new set anywhere, so I just picked up a set of Schumacher Greens since they are virtually the same. I'll give those a go this weekend with my tire test.

I did think originally they were off the BD5, I guess they just changed the stamping to BD7 and couldn't be bothered to do the centre one lol, probably because it is hidden anyway. Just run the newer hpi silver springs coated black, still fantastic springs used on most cars here

Does anyone know if anybody has any bd7 black series in stock? I have searched every where. I placed a order with rcmart, they said they had stock then sent me a email once my order was placed saying they are back order. I am not interested in a used one.

Thanks
