I wish I could see more US setups or just setups on low-medium bite carpet. I don't know if the car naturally doesn't like light diff fluid or if its just me.

The lighter diff fluid u need to set the rear diff position to high and front to low

Then it drives great

I've been using 2k in 13.5.

The shocks build up much nicer when vented. We'll see if they last longer.

Your traction is probably a bit higher than ours at mikes. We're probably a solid medium on a good day. 1k seems to be working well for me now in 17.5.

Had the car out today and the car felt great! ...box stock setup was fine ....I felt it a little pushy in the infield chicanes but just a little ...don't have much time until tommorow a race to play with it but is it unimos setup that everyone is finding good for 17.5 stock ?

Four on a good day. I was very happy with my car today I just couldn't catch a break. Only things I changed from my setup on petit is. 1k in rear diff. Laid the rear shocks down to hole 2 in the rear. Vented shock caps with almost no rebound .5 on the Ackerman and 1mm on the inner rear ball stud instead of .5

For anyone measuring droop at the pins, what gauge are you using and how are you measuring it? My hudy one won't quite work I don't believe.

im sad that right c-hub #4 & #5 died tonight, along w/ my first knuckle.

this car continues to be a handful in stock blinky TC on a high bite track. i moved to lighter rear springs at the end of the night and the car go WORSE. i couldn't believe. i cannot get the car to stop rolling over on the front end and snap steering.

i produced my quickest lap w/ the car yet --- too bad its 0.2s slower than my EX, and 0.4s slower than track record...

Am not measuring at the pin anymore because i forgot the difference in mm between regular droop and pin droop...

Was it 1.5mm difference? I use a Yokomo droop/ride height gauge but gradation is in 1's, no 0.5 steps

Mike,

Have you given Hayato's IIC setup a go?
