Hey Jolly,
Thought about the Blue one, but it would mean having to wait to buy option parts like toe blocks etc, plus i dare say that further down the line Surikarn parts may become rare whereas the purple parts will always be available (not really a big deal, just don't want a Blue/Purple monster!)
The CG BD was definately on the list, just fancied getting away from Yokomo for a while and try something different.
Had a root through the box, not alot different to the original Cyclone, the main changes being thinner diff puliles, metal rear diff halves, thicker towers and a spool/locked pulley are included (as well as a one way)
Looks simple enough to build, but does anydody have any building tips they would like to share?
Chris

I have a few noob type questions:
1. Does the TIR Spool for the Pro4 fit on the cyclone without any modifications? (and is it any good, compared with the one that comes on the Hara kit?)
2. The purple countersunk washers that are on the top deck of the car in the picture, where can you buy these from?
3. The purple roll bar stoppers, where can you buy these from?
4. What is the largest and smallest spur and pinion combination that you can use (64dp)?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cyclone experts, I have a few questions....
Just curious....I'm thinking of getting a Cyclone "S" to run box stock on a carpet track with some foam tires, a lipo pack and a brushless system, would I burn up the plastic diff outdrives or suffer any kind of differential related problems?
Thanks -Dan

I just like to run a 10.53 FDR to keep the motor temps down. Ill take a picture of it sunday after my race I already have the car packed and ready to race.
did you install any fan over the motor to keep it cool ?
I have lots of this questions, because with a 28/108, I wasn't able to finish a 5 min round. After 2 mins, the GTB system goes in protection and shut-off.
At the I'm working on the FDR and fan colling system.
