Integy V10 Twin Turbo 2005 Info????
Has anyone been messing with this motor.
How to tune it?
How to gear it compared to a Monster in Sedan?
I have ran the BIG JIM narrowed 767's in it and the motor looks very impressive but have yet to mess with gearing.
Is it like a MVP where it needs more teeth?
Any experienced info on this would be appreciated.
I hope Integy Got this motor legalized with Roar.

Well the motor is not approved by ROAR and does not conform to all guidlines as Integy's info suggests. Performace wise the motor works best with F brushes narrowed ala MVP style with light springs ( about 6.5fs pos and 6fs neg ) Power is about the same as a good MVP and maintains good power even when hot. the powerband is more RPM based than the reedy motor and with the narrowed brushes should be geared in the same range as a monster stock with full width 4499s
If you are looking for the most raw power you can get in a stocker go with the p2k2 or p2k they are the easiest to get good power out of and generally as much if not more power than any other stocker out there.
For a smooth fluid driver I would go with a GM3 or RM. Although these motors require more work to get and maintain good power their smoother powerband can help the fluid drivers to carry more speed through the corner compensating for their fading bottom end power.

They may say meets all specs but neither the V10 nor the v10 twin turbo do.
First off the V10 ( p/n m2482 ) sold by integy uses stand up brushes and ROAR regulations clearly state the requirment of laydown brushes.
The V10 twinturbo ( p/n m2483 ) is hemi wound and rule 8.5.4.4 stats that all stock motors must be Mabuich wound.
Now if you want to discuss performance both motors do perform well, and are more lenient to improper gearing than most but they do not compare to a "good" RM, GM3, P2K, or P2K2 tuned and geared properly. I would say they are slightly better than an MVP or Orion Core stock but not as good as the current crop of Evil T stockers.
