Default Mod touring car asphalt racing

What is the best handling platform you have ever raced on asphalt for mod touring car and why was it the best?

Did you use any aftermarket parts, chassis, top-decks?

This doesn't have to any of the current cars that are out it can be a older chassis.

Thanks....and yes I searched the forum before posting but there wasn't anything specific to asphalt mod touring car.

X-Ray 2012! Top quality. The build is one of the best builds you will have. The parts and quality is Top notch! There is no better car! You will really be able to see the quality and precision pieces and how they are suppose to fit together.

Very nice how stable is the car and are you running on a low to medium grip track?

I will be doing some parking lot racing and the track is a little bumpy and the grip is in the low to medium range.

Also whats the difference between the 417 and the 417x?

Would you know what the difference was between the 416we and the 417 by any chance?

Thanks..

Ah, but the one you currently have is BLACK! Put a set up on that thing (lots found on the net) and run that Mi3.5

You should probably know that Tamiya cars can be super agile but really require a spot-on set up... I wouldn't look at that brand as a "set once and forget" car. Just my MHO. YMMV.

It was very stable. The surface was med. grip and pretty flat. I found the car easy to drive with big horsepower. Many experienced drivers would watch my car during practice and comment on how well it handled through the corners. This was cool to me because i hadn't made any major changes to the chassis.

I don't have a 417x yet but I think it should be a bit more aggressive with more traction. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong.
