Send it in with a receipt, the viper has a 1 year warranty.
Unless you did stupid stuff to the ESC the Tekin has 90 days i think.
When you buy new...

And i forgot the Viper VTX10 and R are water proof the VTX1 is not.
Tekins are not water proof either.

It was on my first raceday back in 7 years. Someone had two used Tekin's at the track. I bought em and put it in so I could race. I returned the Viper due to the circumstances.

Default Viper

Y? Viper has been on road or heli, now motor is small but smaller than tekin claim there is smaller but not so. small motor don't break as fast as big motors. now the esc is small and well built and can fits in all cars, cools down faster,(how many time have you drop your keys, most key have a chip in them to help start the car, same concept.) also viper pro gauge is awesome and easy to operate, It make me laugh when I see people with there laptops adjusting there esc like some kind of wizard. Always and Forever its the driver not the brand.

The latest Tekin RS Gen2 requires no laptop and no programming card. You can pull it from the package, and use the 5 default timing profiles for 90% of the tracks, including blinky stock.

No programming box required.

May not be required but it seems that it is a big selling point for many customers to have a "card" that can be used in the field.
