I am an RC nut and I make pretty good money. This just doesn't do it for me. While I appreciate the Ferrari style ground effects and obvious engineering that went into the product, there just aren't that many places that have a 1/4 mile of open blacktop where you can even run the darn thing.

I am more excited about the Axial EXO and the HPI Apache, personally.

if you hit something at Encino, it was a flippin' yard sale. That car was 42 ounces. I can't imagine this tank...

With the accelleration times listed it would be great around a velodrome or 1/8th scale track.

Who says you HAVE to run it at 100mph? You are not obligated to use the 6s combined batteries that it comes with. Slap in a 4s or 5s (or maybe just one of those included 3s batteries) and make it more controllable for parking lot racing.

Or, as was already discussed, turn down the throttle via CastleLink or IOS. It's not restricted to be a full-time land missile...only the foolish victims of Darwinism will think so...

People will buy this, People walk into local hobby shops all the time and the first thing they ask is .... How Fast Does it GO!
I don't want to buy one but I definitely want to see one.
Also. Bet it doesn't cost more than 750$ retail

People drop 1g-1300 on baja 5b and 5t's, what makes you think they wouldn't on this, I think its brilliant marketing on traxxas part.

Ditto. Already have my money set aside for the EXO. This thing is a bust though. Yes, you don't have to run it at 100mph, been then if that is the case, why spend all that extra $$$ on something if you can't utlilize it to its full potential. I'll admit it's cool and innovative, just not practical at all. I too see lawsuits coming with these things. The only place people will be able to run these is in public parking lots where one wrong move at those speeds could cause some serious carnage. Plus, IDK about anyone else but doing speed runs and passes with an RC car gets boring pretty quick for me.

Wrong. Cost is higher than that for the hobby shop. Stores really won't make that much of of the car.....it's all the parts that break when you hit that mailbox post you didn't see at 100mph.
