what bodies (brands) at 190mm fits best and wheel size, offsets etc..?
i believe i am getting closer to purchase this ride.
i have a Caslte SV2 for it from another car, since it detroyed the rear trani-
section and melted a gear race in a Avante 2011.

any way i have a Sepent 811 Be Cobra and other than reaming every plastic screw hole the car assemled well.

I run the Solaris spec tires on mine... and threw a Honda Van body on it... but from what I understand the popular bodies for these are the Tamiya Scirrocco and the Speed Passion civic...

Even with the Honda van body that thing was dialed to drive!

Ya, it is ashamed that ff class is not popular over here. I love my S411 ff.

Eddie,

do you run your car with or without the 1mm roll center spacers under the lower armmounts? So far i've only tried to run WITH them wth great results. Never tried without.

One more thing - there seems to be a lot of wheel "hop" from the rear when taking medium/fast corners. I'm not sure why this happens. Have tried both with and without rear anti-roll bars and both yield the same results. I have Ride springs on the car and 500 oil in the shocks. Sping rates are low (260 and 248) with the Ride springs. Can't seem to figure out why the car behaves this way.

Ideas?

Are these kits still being manufactured by Serpent? I've been looking for one for a while and most places I've tried seem to have been out of stock for ages without any idea of when fresh stock could be available. Do you guys think Serpent are about to release an updated version based on the ERYX with the new RCM SS shocks etc?

What's the gear ratio? Can't find anything :-(

Trying to find the right pinion for a 17.5T

Marklas:

2.6:1. Depending on the length of your track, on a 17.5 non boosted anywhere between FDR of 3.0 and 4.0, depending of course on your race rules. Here in Malaysia there is one race on the calnedar where we run on a fairly long track and for that i even go down as low as 2.9. Watch it tho as heat builds up substantially in the motor.

You'll need incredibly small spurs and massive pinion for that. Get a 76T 64p spur from TOP. You can get monster size pinions (largest i have is a 70T) from Xenon.

Another thing you can do is to use taller ratios and learn to carry speed in corners - big advantage here is that you reduce wheelspin and preserve your tires!

Intresting, that is another way to think about FWD. I like to drive and work on setups for these FWD cars much more than 4WD TC.

Thanks :-)

We use SpeedPassion 3.0 blink 17.5T here in Denmark and nitro 1/10 foam tyres.
