Seeing as it's snowing here in the UK , does anyone live in a country warm enough to have tried the HMX outdoors yet ?

They are the exact same dimensions, it would fit without problem.
Tamiya TRF damper seals would also fit too.

Last week we tried the hmx outdoors and the chassis went very wel!
We drove 13.5t non boost at the Mach Heemstede track with medium grip.

Default Minimize vibration of inner wheel at extreme wheel turning angles

Does the HMX have this poblem too?
And if so, how to solve it?
Please look at the video.

I think that that problem is with every car.
And to solve the problem... I think you got it there?

I have a small bit of vibration at full steering, but I've had to dial back the steering throw anyway as it's not necessary. I know that's not the answer you were probably looking for, but it never hurts to not have to crank on the wheel quite as much.

Hi guys, can anyone tell me what the front spool is in this HMX please?

Plus, what carbon shock towers have you been putting on the car instead of the ali' items??

Sorry to ask, but have never raced a TC before!

Thanks in advance,

Chris.

I'm excited to see an HMX in person next week. It's like going to the zoo to see an endangered albino tiger. I hope it doesn't jump the fence and run off!

Hi Chris,

the spool we can see in this HMX is a Delrin 36 Teeth spool, which is part number 79157 and the shock towers we see seems to be Phi09 towers, part number 79742 and 79743.
I'm using Phi07 lowered shock towers on my HMX and it works flawlessly. Those Phi07 towers are part number 79740. Some people are complaining about insuficient shock lenght and those shock towers could solve most of these issues.
But you can also keep in mind that Corally has a new model of CF Shock Towers made specifically for the HMX. Part number 79761 will be for the front and 79762 for the rear of the car.

I hope this would answer to all your questions.
