hi every body

i was just wondering is there a graphite reinforced bulkhead made for the 04? cause it's time for me to replace the plastic ones on my 04 (holes maybe stripped) and i figured, why not upgrade?

thanks

No graphite bulkhead but Tamiya does make a "reinforced" rear bulkhead set that includes a cool blue aluminum cross brace. Set also comes with a rear-belt tensioner/guide that sits inside the gear case.

Tamiya is coming out with their own Ti-turnbuckles.... if you do race at Tamiya races, you might want to wait a little and get that

53526 3x23mm Titanium Turnbucle Shaft $7.80
53527 3x32mm Titanium Turnbucle Shaft $9.60

Mobilenemo: reinforced gear case part # 49203

I bought some of the Tamiya ti turnbuckles from Rainbow Ten in Japan, about $9 a set. Nice parts.

Hiya,

I have a relatively stupid question to ask regarding my TA04 which I hope someone can help me out with. I've been racing using 64 pitch gears and want to change over to 48 pitch. My question is that I don't know which combinations of spur and pinion gears will 'fit' in the ta04 (as i can't afford 'trial-and-error' way of finding out). I need something with a ratio of around 2.5 to start with, once i get one combo that fits i'm sure i can work out things from there.

Anyone using 48pitch gears on their ta04 should be able to answer this question pretty easily and I would be very grateful for an answer to save me some hassle 87)

mulgar,
We use 48 pitch gears: 93 t spur and 27-30t pinions, depending on the motor. 96t spur will fit, too.

thanx for the reply, but i need to gear it with a ratio of around 2.5, and those gears are around 3.5 (i think) as i'm still running a 540 at the moment and don't want to gear it too high as 540's have no guts 87)
