Well, they are those powers cells (GP is an acronym for General Powers).

Capacity is up to 3300mah, but as for the actual voltage characteristics compared to HV's and pana's I don't know - perhaps Danny will drop in and answer?

GP actually stands for Gold Peak, who trades worldwide as GPB or GPBatteries, .com in the US, .co.uk in the UK and .com.sg for their main offices.
The Powers range is just a branded Gold Peak cell, Power do not make cells.

The GP3300 is a high capacity cell with good voltage. Initial tests are showing .015 - .025 lower voltage than the current batches of HV's. The Internal Resistance is similar to the HV's and Panasonics.

We will be track testing them this week and until we have track tested them it's to early to tell if this cell will be any better or worse than the HV's which seems to be the cell to beat.

Yes it means they have a true 3300 mAh @ 30 amp discharge.

Yes they are intended for RC cars where maximum capacity is needed.

Avink1: We will have a better picture once we track test them. I think they will definately be good for 12th scale but will they be better than HV's? Track testing will be the only way to truly know.

Iceberg: This is a new cell that is getting released in a few weeks. They will be available from battery matchers who decide to carry them. We will be matching some.
