Maybe if i name you and shame you here, you might respond to these things and i will not have to get paypal onto the case to get my money back.

That fan doesn't even compare to the R1 or F5 fan. Believe me, i have all three fans now.

We will replace any defective fans as long as you provide us some information on your purchase.

I just need:
approximate date of purchase
quantity purchased
quantity of defective fan
hobby shop
email address used for purcahse(if bought online)
your name
phone number
shipping address

no need for proof of purchase since we can verify your purchase thru the vendor.

as soon as we have this information, we will ship out the replacement fan within 24hours of getting your request. no paperwork to fill out.

We have sold a little less than 1000pcs of fans in 3 months & have only less than 20pcs replaced under warranty. thats about 2% defect & very resonable considering the quantity we have sold in a short amount of time.

Thanks everyone for the support...

Steve
I emailed Steve last night with all this info and about an hour later he replied saying the replacements were already being sent out. No hassles at all. That's what you call taking care of customers. Thanks Steve.

Why not try Zeppin 30mm and 40mm fan?
you can get them from RC-mushroom.com with only $3.5-$4 each.
Cheap and powerful.

Been running 13.5 tc in 90+ temps in Soc-Cal the last few weeks
Motor temp never over 140f

That's pretty solid

R1 fan placed about 10mm behind motor

Read this whole thread. Had a yeah racing fan, loved it. Got a stick in it while bashing, epic fail. Thinking of trying the r1 fan in future.

Prior to that tho, i'm trying the fan linked below. Anyone see any issue with it specs to run in an RC? Seems to have the correct voltage for me to put a futaba receiver plug on the end, and the CFM looks good. Has 'fancy' locked rotor protection for debri, whatever lol.

Also there's a 50MM fan which can be mounted pointed at the end bell of the motor in a car with room such as a losi SCTE. 10.2 CFM, 6v.

My brother as the SH fan and loves it, but since I'm already coming off practice at 140* w/ no fan, the fan for me is just gravy and $30 is steep.

Just got my R1wurks fan yesterday, and wired it up and ran it today in my TC club race. The fan is amazing. I have it mounted about 15 mm away from the motor, mounted in front on the chassis... it dropped my motor temps 20 degrees over my muchmore fan. The fan moves a ton of air, and my car now sounds like a leaf blower... Fantastic.

The ratings on the 40mm fan are not very good, you might find a 50mm fan a bit too big to practically fit inside the car.

Default R1 Wurks 30mm fan

Anybody know where I can get a R1 Wurks fan? I have tried my usual haunts and they are all out of stock.

Thanks
