My R1wurks fan fluctuates randomly. It seem the motor magnet is affecting it.
Has anyone had the same problem?
BTW, the fan doesn't have "R1Wurks" printed on it. Could it be an imitation?

Based on what I could tell one of the glob of wired flew back and got sucked into the fan.
Another thought would be what ever he hit to break the rear arm hit his fan. I'm sure he will give the attention needed just like the attention to his wiring.

I have to say that I've loved the fan as I boughted and installed.
But I realized shortly that the fan is not running smoothly after a couple of seconds.
It kind like starts and stopps all the time and almost grilled a motor last weekend.
I tryed this fan with another receiver and had the same problem.

Try moving the fan further from the motor. Depending on the strength of your motor's rotor, it could be interfering with the magnets on the fan causing the fluctuation.
You can also test this quickly by turning on the car (make sure the fan is running) and rotating the poles of the motor by turning your drive wheels. If the fan speed fluctuates, you know the motor's magnet is too strong.

But even at a distance of 10mm, which is a lot in a touring car, the fan struggles.
And this is with a X12 17.5 Stock spec.
I made the test with a 40mm R1 works and a Yeah racing fan also.
The results are the Yeah racing is running strong even direct at the motor, but the 40mm R1 struggles and runs only with about the half speed.

I thought it was just the way the fan was. I bought 2 of them and the sound like they are off balance. They still blow a ton of air so I didn't think anything about it. But as someone else said, mine are just black. They don't have any writhing on them. Is this normal?
