Biggest concerns are the durability and slop in the front end. All being addressed by people in this thread. The car has come a long way in a short time thanks to these guys. With a couple of big time conversion kits about to come out, this car is going to be a Demon.

Had a look at the 3racing site and others, and it is a very affordable car.
That's for sure
Personally for me its all about the challenge to dial /balance my car And having read this thread and your response, I think this car will challenge me

Thanx

Default FGX Front arm conversion

Here is my converted front upper arms! Made from Xpress delrin upper joint arm set. Originally for the MRR2 touring car. Also used Xpress Ballend and Post set and assorted pillow balls. Not sure what brand the turnbuckles are but the local hobby store owner found them for me.

Traxxas 1/16th 4300kv Velineon, with vxl3m esc. Not sure if it is race legal, pretty sure it's not but it's small and I like the blue color LOL. Not the fastest top speed, but decent for my parking lot runs. Running a 26T pinion and runs great, the battery lasts for what seems like an hour! (4600Mah nimh or lipo).
I tried a 33T pinion but the esc doesn't like it ~it goes into thermal shutdown in about 5-10 mins.

I was wondering when we was getting to se smaller motors and batteries installed.

Saves weight and power is not a issue if you go for the right one.

Get some shorty packs and perhaps you can gear up a bit.
