Anyone got a good starting set-up for a bumpy parking lot track?

Correct.
I refer to PIT 0561, PIT 0563, and PIT 0565 which are so far the best tires that I have tried (except for foam tires of course).

571/572 are best BUT they don't fit on any FGX rims, F104 only

you could run f104 front knuckles and F104 front rims with the 571 but then you would be narrow. Ride front f104 rims with HPI fronts, my setup, get width back.

Probably best is HPI med rear HPI soft or medium front. That's what I have. I am hoping to have my car done for sun at nor-cal

I recall a post from marcus (I think) saying best tires are
- PIT when temperature is low
- HPI Med rear / Soft front when temperature goes up

But I don't know if he was talking about PIT for F104 or PIT Grooved tires.

you can get the 571/572 combo on the FGX using 104 front knuckles (car runs better narrow) and modify the rear wheels, its worth the effort to get them on but with the IFS the 572 (fronts ) had too much grip.

I was referring to the grooved tires. I liked the med/med HPI or even the RIDE med rears are also very good.

Default Cal13.1

I build the Cal13 for Charlie Lightfoot and this a new updated version. I used TRG dampers with internal springs, gearing 76/69 or 72/70.

Ebay is the right place to find them.
However, be careful with F201 springs. They are a bit longer than the 3racing ones.

I just installed the F104 knuckles and Pit 571 tires and my front end is a couple mm's wider than stock. Don't know how you say it narrows the car
