Exactly the same, although I also saw what seemed to be an early prototype.

the new jrxs will be raced this weekend Oct 10 at the region 12 road course race in Hesperia CA

Check back at the end of the weekend..

The car I saw, touched, fondled etc was the real deal. It was the car that was goiong to the regionals then the worlds.

The car in the other guys photos looks 95% the same configuration.

The shocks, sway bars and belts were still being developed.. so you'll probably see a few variations until after the ifmar worlds is done, in my estimation.

I'm sure Losi will make sure that when the car coomes out (I think in time for xmas) it will be throughly race tested.

The proof will be at the worlds right now what I saw was a car that was at least 25-30% better than the current xxxs in the handling department which is an awful lot.

Ditto about the accuracy of the one series of car pictures with about 8-9 shots. That is exactly the car I had in my hands earlier.

Would be interesting if those several photos had also included a shot of the "trap door" battery compartment on the bottom of the car. I am sure that will come soon...

He didnt tell me exactly what the variations were but he said that the first prototype variation had already been scrapped.

may be the 3 variants are essentially the same car but with minor different mods, it's not uncommon for R&D team to test several different configurations of similar cars to see which one performs the best.
as for the angle of the drive shaft, i thought they should be as straight as possible. one thing to mention though is that with such a short drive shafts, wouldn't the large angle change affect the efficiency? but then i guess modern TC doesn't have that much suspension travel, so it's probably not such a big deal

if you notice the pictures show that the diff housing / axel is cogged that enables to tight belt because of the cam effetc as weel as running the housing in a high or low position to make sure the drive axles are level.

I had a look at one last weekend and its the same (less a few minor alterations) from the pictures that everyone has seen.

It had just arrived from the left coast, so I assume it was one of the later generation cars.

Sounds like more and more team drivers are getting their own JRXS. Could only be a good thing.
I don't expect this car to TQ in every time on the track. It's not like Losi has had a base car for setups....like AE has with the TC3 which is now the TC4. It's gonna take more time. I think we all expect too much....too soon.

Hi guys,

I've seen the car last week end at West London and give my own opinion on the car on my report of the race HERE

Lots of pictures in the album (some of the car in action on the wet track).
