I'm DYING to run my old Corally SP12 in 12th scale. That hydrolic rear T-Bar is still amazing. Only problem is, I have the aluminum chassis that fits 4 cell saddle packs. No way a LiPo will fit in there. Also, it has the old school clip on rims. Wondering if I can update those. If anyone knows ANYTHING about resurrecting this wicked ride, please let me know. I'd love to challenge the new gen cars.

Hi.

I'm not sure about the wheels, but there is a 1s saddle lipo that should fit.

Google 'speedzone saddle lipo' and I think you'll find the info you need.

Cheers,

Steve

Another good run from my Losi anachronism. Fresh off earning me a trophy in Amateur in Las Vegas I decided to bump it up in class, racing in the hotly contested 13.5 TC class at TQRC raceway in Cali on what turned out to be the biggest racer turnout EVER at TQ. I bolted up my old Trinity Duo 13.5 and a set of old Sorex pre-mounts that someone told me were the wrong compound and even with a few driver errors the car made the A main, about 4 seconds off the leaders who ran clean qualifiers, and running very competitive laps for never having run a 13.5. This car can still run.

Got a second TRF TA04 from a person here. It was in bad shape but now I have her completely rebuilt and running in our Silver can class.

Also built a Pit station from some stuff I found at Home Depot. Got everything built for about $20. I had the Big Computer fan lying around after a old build. Pushes a lot of air over the chassis and charger.

Howdy all,

I'm about to run my old MR4TC again at the local outdoor track this weekend. In testing it appears to be pretty good. Some nice pics to enjoy!

Cheers

That's a good looking Yoke! I've been running my Schumacher MI3.5 in our local 17.5 class and scored a 2nd at the last race.

What version is that?

And it's not clear if it's shaft or belt. Which is it?

Mid motor or Type R? The mid-motor car flat out will not accept a LiPo pack bigger than a 3200 ProTek without major surgery, and will be cataclysmicly under legal weight. If your LHS doesn't care, give it a go.

Its the last of the MR4TC's made in 2002 just before the BD came out. So yes belt drive.
Its based on the SP2 but has the great looking SSG graphite parts. You could buy a conversion kit back in the day.
