Well it's quick reacting, haven't run it much since that day, next club day was wet so I went back to the well abused 300M which is more dosile. Will use the Alfa on Monday, hopefully the weather will be dry, as my car will be up for some butt spanking since the motor will have a nice skim and a fresh set of brushes, plus a complete rebuild for the car itself, could do with waking up the cells probably.

it's flouro green and metalicish graphite grey actually, digi cam doesn't seem to have captured the colours too well but if it looks black to you then your moniter settings must be a little out

that looks weird, what servo is that? I know the 9550 is short but that looks shorter than it is wide

hmm, interesting thought, or maybe tiredness , how about a front engine mounted shaft drive car with the servo opposite the motor, saddle pack cells in the middle and then ESC and reciever at the rear on each side should give a decent forward baised weight balance, reciever can be miles away from the motor, hmmm.....

The servo looks short because you actually see the reciever. The servo goes under the upper deck...

Not much of anything DJ. Still have the Cuda, only ran it twice since I bought it...sigh...I hope to run outside this weekend but the guys want me to run 19t. I don't know if the stock R2 will handle it w/o the pal drive system. What is this "web" stuff? I never did go back to the previous postings b/c it's hard enough to catch up if you haven't been on here in a few hours...lol. DJ, they are racing in the evening outside to survive the heat, if you wanted to race. Their huge state race is like on Aug. 8-10th. I won't be racing b/c it is also on a Sunday and that is a no-no for me. keep in touch. Dave too.

PS I am not going to Memphis and I didn't go back to Yokomo. I still have my MR4TC Pro

The aluminum shaft mounts, and Robinson machined spur gears work great with the stock shaft setup. I have run this exclusively in 27T, 19T & Brushless with no trouble.

Dave Berger is running his R2 without the PAL system in brushless, which should be a little faster than 19 turn spec. He also took 2'nd at Reedy 19t, and won the KO race on a basically stock R2. You should be fine with the stock drivetrain.
