I know the 9550 is short but that looks shorter than it is wide

, how about a front engine mounted shaft drive car with the servo opposite the motor, saddle pack cells in the middle and then ESC and reciever at the rear on each side should give a decent forward baised weight balance, reciever can be miles away from the motor, hmmm.....

Not much of anything DJ. Still have the Cuda, only ran it twice since I bought it...sigh...I hope to run outside this weekend but the guys want me to run 19t. I don't know if the stock R2 will handle it w/o the pal drive system. What is this "web" stuff? Dave Berger is running his R2 without the PAL system in brushless, which should be a little faster than 19 turn spec. He also took 2'nd at Reedy 19t, and won the KO race on a basically stock R2. You should be fine with the stock drivetrain.
