well the tc4 is my first touring car. well first impresions after building it wasnt that good due to the amount of slop i found in the car.
after i shimmed it up better i was much happier!
i was totally amazed with the car at my first every touring car race it was an indoor carpet track,i went on to win the b final and came home a very happy man.
ive fitted many hop ups now and the car is amazing !!
i just need more track time now and i,ll be up there with the big boys!!
i love my tc4 and im very happy i bought the car.

by looking at some of your other posts you sound like someone i know that races a tc4.

you don't race at a club called GTCC by any chance do you?

id made a big mistake in not noticing i had a bent hinge pin and a crack in my wishbone when i set the car up on the hudy.
so when i put the new bits in i was struggling to get the car back on track!!

thats bad luck dude...hope it goes better next time.

i am running a team br00d C2 (email [email protected] if you want one) and the gearing i am running is 72/25.

speed is about average down the straight but through the corners it has loads of rip....it is unfortunate that you run rubbers and i run foam because i could of given you a fairly good setup

probably not....i finish work at 5 so it would be a rush to get to batley (takes about 20-30 mins depending on traffic)

is the putnam a 2mag or 4?

i have never driven a faster 19t than my br00d....its unbelievable...saying that i haven't tried putna, team scream, EA or anything..just br00d in 19t.

but i will be trying an EA atlas based 19t when he gets them in.

its $125 and iirc you don't need anything apart from the tc4 kit (obviously)

Mornin all,
I've just converted over to the full graphite component set for the car, and I was wondering what difference it will make to the car in terms of driving. I had the car pretty dialled with the composite, so I'm hoping this will just finnish it off.

Cheers

It will make the suspension work better because instead of the chassis flexing, so the shocks will do their job properly. It should also maybe make the car more responsive

Yes it did. Especially on carpet. You might need a minor change here and there. I moved the rear camber link on the chassis brace in one hole. (Making it shorter)
