thunder power and reedy sonic, Might come from same factory but having had both the reedy is a superior beast in my opinion, more unch, and doesn't run as hot.

Has anybody tested their LRP with the new mod+stock board vs the old?

Do motors run same temperatures with each or does one tend to run hotter/cooler?

Hi guys - I'm running an LRP SXX StockSpec V2 in 17.5 blinky. Noticed on the LRP web site that as of 12/12/12 there is a firmware update available. has anyone installed, and will it make a difference? I will have to buy the bridge if I am going to install, and my speedo is working fine, as far as I can tell.

I'm considering bumping up to mod, running a 7.5. Any reason why I couldn't run this speedo? Lit says its good to 4.5 turn.

My LRP in the open class I run isn't the updated version but
It seems like the LRP esc likes the x12 motor. I have the x12 and it out performs the sonic and runs right with a guy that has a D3.5 in a 13.5 open esc oval class.
I have an updated version in my 17.5 sedan but was told the only benefits from older version is more options with mod motors like 4.5 stuff. Any truth behind that or should I be running the updated esc in the open 13.5 class I run?

is there a mistake in the programming instructions. mode three should be red and yellow blink at same time and mode four blink alternatly.
mine is just the opposite, any one else have this condition???

No, mode 3 is alternating blinks and mode 4 is simultaneous blinking.

Just wanted to confirm

1s operation is flawless with the new upgrade board

Used a 10.5 blinky for 12th mod at our Roar region race

Drives super smooth, Steering was very responsive with Spektrum H5020G servo

I can't find a sxx v2 tc spec thread but I gave one a try and barely got 2 packs thru it before it just stopped working, no lights nothing. anyone have experience w/this? Maybe a way to get a quick turn around w/lrp?
