Nice pics fellas, keep 'em coming!

I'm still waiting on Tower to receive some stock so I can use my membership discount then I can try out some onroad racing(it's been a looong time, 2003 Crystal Park).

I have a spare Tekin 2050 to use, but you guys are all using 2200 and 2650 motors at Corona. Man, my set up is still too slow.

Do you fellas have any set-ups(tires, gearing too) I can use for Corona?

Any other tracks I can practice at to get ready for Corona other than WCRC?

With 4S and a 15/48 spur my DM1 spec hits 37 mph, and that drops down to about 35mph after it's been running for awhile. This was with a bushnell radar gun. I was going to try a 16T today but got busy racing 17.5 spec.

thanks . The Tekin 2050 is prob. a bit better bc its sensored and you'll get a nice smooth start , just gear it up a lil bit and watch temps for some more speed. I already have a 2200v & 2650Kv so i'll be using one of those.

Got any set up tips that you can share?

Best GT tires for Corona?

What spec servos are recommended for 1/8 GT? I'm sure you don't need no high powered, mega torque servos like offroad.

I think I will just settle with 2050 for now and just run at the back of the field behind you more experienced ,faster guys.

I believe the ones i borrowed from Dave were BMt's. 20 up front, 10's in the rear. I ran my car Stock with the stock springs. I think they may be a tad soft, but drivable. I ran 5mm droop front and back and was too much still. I will be running 6.5mm in front and 6mm droop in the rear at Corona. I will also test the Impanema 50 shores and if i get them in the mail in time, the Sweep GT's. It will all be a test session for me, but the car is fantastic to begin with. If non of my tires come in, i will test the Ofna Slicks. I heard they worked well at Corona too.

Hey guys, what's the lowest rear ride height you can set the car to? I am getting 11.5 mm with the shock collars all the way up. Does this sound about right. The front I can set alot lower.

what weight are you guys running in the front shocks? I'm getting a pretty good nose dive on braking. Also, did anyone have a hard time getting the body to clear the front bumper?

That ride height sounds right.

Yes I had to cut back some of the foam bumper so the body would fit correctly.
