Monster Horsepower Stock Tuning
Can anybody help? Ive just started to race stock class with my Pro 4 . My equipment reads as 3000 & 3300 batts, LRP quant pro speedo. I will be racing indoors on carpet. the track is small and twisty, also i need gearing for a large flowing track. Any idears

With a monster I'd suggest you start with a ratio of 7.3 - 7.5 for indoors and 5.8 - 6.0 outdoors and work from there

yes because the final drive ratio gets higher so you need to lower the ratio.

I think he's talking about the 5.8-6.0 gearing. Not even if I was full throttle on a wide open track for the whole race would I think to go that far below 7.0 with a Monster Stock.

It really depends on the track and the type of layout you're on.
5.8-6.0 would be just about right for this track. kakegawa style

It all depends on your rollout, I run a 6.5 on a medium sized track. If I went to a large track I'd be running around a 6.0.
Stegger - I'd say start with a 24mm rollout and go from there.
rollout - (tire width in mm x 3.14) / Overall gear ratio
