Well i've ran a set of pre-production ones, and I have to say the difference in the steering was amazing, in fact they caught me out when I tried them first on tarmac at Snetterton here in the UK. I also used them at West London Racing, but was having one of those days
I also used them indoors on primafelt GT and the grip was incredible, and the way the car turned into the corner was so smooth but did have to turn down the steering curve from 110 % to 80%. I then tried a set of standard drive-shaft, and wow where did all that steering go I then had to turn the steering rate back upto 100% but did notice a judder appear when entering the corner and around it. The tyre wear was much improved to when using the new cvd's
Cheers Malc

Has anyone tested the rears?
The fronts have obvious gains, but putting these in the rear seems like it would give minimal improvement.
I'm considering just buying the fronts.
Also maintenance, has anyone had these for a pro-longed period of time? Maybe from the previous company?

Of course, but I personally am not at that level yet. At least I don't think so, but I don't know because I don't know how much of an improvement they will make. So I would like to see what kind of gains the rears will yield and make my decision from there.

pretty much the key to why these are better, front or rear, is that with other types of driveshafts whenever the suspension moves or the steering knuckle turns the driveshaft angle changes and this makes the drivetrain (on that corner) try to either accelerate or decelerate. so some of the energy going into the suspension gets redirected into speeding up or slowing down the car......and this is all happening super fast.
so not only are these going to make the drivetrain smoother, it's going to allow the suspension to work even better by isolating it from all the force induced in a basically vibrating drivetrain. This is the key to why you get so much more steering by running these.... The front end has so much movement in it when you combine the suspension with the knuckling turning!
props to LiteModz.....their lineage speaks for itself....always making the finiest driveshafts

Check page 7 for a post by jonrg for more detail.
The material we use is L160 which is the aerospace & defence release version 7075T6 which is ultrasonically tested for any impurities and is generally used by them in high stressed areas..
