They use virtually the same rotor so they have the same issue. You'll have to file the flat back just a touch.......its a issue with other cars out there too. I did see some new pinions on the market that actually put the set screw hole in a couple of different places that may be the fix for this, but didn't catch the make of them.

Yes. It has a very long rotor shaft.

Use the cap head screws, almost no chance of rounding out the socket head, and if you do you can always use vice grips to get the out instead of drilling the head off.

EPIC pinions. I had already Dremel'd my rotor, but from the looks of it you wouldn't need to with Team Epic pinions. Plus the gold looks cool........

When would you want a lower or higher roll center when racing on carpet? And when would you know if you needed to adjust the rear or front?

Lower roll center for lower traction tracks? Higher for Higher Traction?

Questions to top pilots....( Rick, Juho, Kevin...)

Can you please explain what ackerman are you using?

Why do you change 7B to 7A for exemple....

And what sterring stroke are you more often using in degrees ? ( 21 °, 25°)

Thank for your help.

Regards

I haven't had a lot of time with mine yet, but I did discover last weekend that raising the roll center (raising the suspension arm hinge pins) on the front worked very well to cut down on traction rolling on very high bite carpet. A small adjustment (2 dot to 1 dot) made a very noticeable difference.

Most high grip carpet setups use the top hole on the bulkheads, I believe I'm using 0Bs all around except 1B on the front RWD mount.

That makes sense to me. I'm brand new to the rubber tire touring car game, so the learning curve is pretty steep for me right now.

Yup! I use them since more than half a year now. Full constant velocity, zero play. I am very satisfied with the quality and performance. Just one thing I don't like: In comparison to the AE axles the material is "softer" and bends or breaks if you get a strong hit on the wheel.

I needed two spare axles, just the part, not the whole CVS, since I installed them in march. Otherwise I am really impressed of the little wear of the cage and balls. Very nice.

All I wrote just counts for 9,5t and 17,5t boosted and unboosted.

Im not quite Keven or Rick, but this is my take on the ackerman for this car.

Moving the bellcrank forward (7c to 7b for example) will make the outside wheel turn more relative to the inside wheel (less ackerman), and have more steering (the tires scrub less). Typically you want to run the bellcrank more forward (less ackerman) for higher grip tracks, and middle/back (more ackerman) for low grip.

I normally set my steering so that the knuckles just touch the c-hub, however much throw that is. Hope that helps.

No. There are no shops which have them in stock yet. You can pre-order them though. I always wait when there is some stock.
