Post Quick question time....

I have the XXX-s G+ as one of my choices of on-road car to run 540 stock so I'm wondering does the spur gear adapter I have seen change the internal ratio of the car because it looks like (but I can't tell for sure from blurry picture) that it has 24 teeth on it which would change the internal ratio to 1.75 I believe.

True?

Unfortunately in controlled practice I didnt have time to try and find the problem. I just stripped the car of its electronics and threw all new ones in and made sure they were spaced out.

JKerr -> YGPM. I am playing with the spool but still messing with the idea of using either the very very tight diff or one-way. I must say that some of your idea's, mixed with Hodapp's setup from last year yielded the fast time of the weekend, but the car deteriorates late in the run as the tires heat up.

Not made, they would just be brittle and break I'd think.

I know Matt gave the sheet to Todd, and I believe Todd is going to post it on the Losi site. I just wish I would have switched to it at Reedy.

Randy: How low grip was the track? I am half wondering if this setup would help my cause in the heat. The spool (as mentioned) is not bad, but...

I am finding the tires just get too hot after 3.5 minutes and pretty soon its drift racing... Car just doesn't want to rotate without throwing it into the corner (which is half the problem). If I increase the rear rotation then it gets too loose after 3.5 mins.
