.050" hex driver. I like my Losi hex wrenches. They're very good

Getting a XXX-S G+ shortly to run on carpet. Motor will be a Novak Brushless, batteries will be GP3300's low-end matched packs. Radio will be a JS XS3 crystal-less, servo a Hitec or JR with some decent speed.

What parts would you recommend or things would you recommend for this car which I know has most of the hop ups? I used to run offroad so I have nice tools etc., I will pick up some pinions, the popular rims and tires for my track etc. Are there any parts which brake often or should simply be replaced day 1, ala the old style bumper etc.?

Any suggestions from the XXX-S G+ vets as to what I need to get running besides what I listed as already having? The kit comes this week... the build starts on the weekend.

6.9 that's a little low for a 9 turn don't you think ? i would gear around 8.5-9.0 depending on the tracks.

Default tire warmers

i'm planning on racing my xxx-s at this winters novak tc race, and i want to have anything that could help me do well at the race, so my question is... Are tire warmers useful on foam tires, or are they just for rubber, and how much of an impact can the driver tell.

highwayman: i know. kinda odd that it works for you that way though. anyway, post your full set-up. might be easier to give suggestions.

ps. on a side note. get that 12 scale ready. just waiting for moto to make the race announcement. tentatively sept 13!

I have found no benafit using tyre warmers on foam tyres. " we run foam as our main tyre here in Aus.

yes they are primerily desighned for rubber tyres.
