going wider might lead to fitting problems with the FF shells available (Accord, Civic EG, etc)
So will this keep the car at stock width?

Just clarifying, do you mean

1XD (415) - 1XD (415) FRONT
1XD (415) - 1A (TB5/416) REAR

Where:

1XD is http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/rc-trf...1-p-26112.html
1A is http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/rc-evo...9-p-27496.html

Thanks!

yup... that's right... although you could also use the split type XD-D (TA05v2) blocks for the FR

Just to point out, in the mega high traction at the TITC, most of the FWD runners (not just the FF03's) are all running pretty wide cars.

Got my FF03 running pretty well today, setup is a bit crazy (still can't quite understand how it works, but hey, it does!), moving onto controlled practise tomorrow. Was quite fun to see Jilles and Marc out with their FF's as well, should be interesting to see how they fair against the top runners here
I'll note down my setup tomorrow, and hopefully post up later today.

My ff03 with +2 offset wheels are rubbing the exiv body front and back. Are there any options to narrow the chassis down while keeping the wheels? That's my only set of tires for tcs and the raised body doesn't look very good (it needs to be raised a lot). I found the rubbing to be less on 0 offset wheels, are there any hex hubs that are 2mm thinner than stock ones?

I know theres probably not much i can do, just wondering.

Thanks

I would dearly love to! It would be a brilliant break from our lousy weather, but it might be a little too far to travel (& the missus may not justify the cost!)

I'm sure this has been mentioned in previous posts, but what are the Tamiya part numbers for the universals for the FF03? Thanks.

They haven't released any specific for this car as existing ones fit.

On my car i have the 417 axles and cross joint with 46mm swing shafts.

51445
51444
51092 or equivalent, some use 44mm

Thanks for your help. I went to Tamiya's site and called. There answer was TB03 axles (50476), 46mm swing shafts (51092 standard) (53724 light weight), and the cross joints (53500).

The 417 axles supposedly spin freer as its a floating design, also no more loose set screws.

How are you supposed to adjust sway bars?

I have the droop set, but one of the bars came a bit tweaked out of the package and the left is raising (the opposite arm) less than the right as it is suspending the left arm a bit (with shocks off).

The tie rods are set at stock length, so should I just lengthen the left side rod to lower the arm back down? I tried twisting the bar to get it balanced as much as I could but its still a bit off and seems to spring back a bit.

Thanks.
