Default new narrow chassis

Hi,

Im looking to get a new chassis and i cant decide if this new narrow chassis is right for me..... i mainly race indoors on high grip carpet......I have always found my car to be quite aggressive with lots of steering!!

From previous posts it looks like the new chassis will make the car more aggressive and more of a handful to drive which i assume is aimed more at outdoor racing? Is this right......does anyone have any more info on how this new chassis will affect the cars handling?

What spur and pinion you guys use to achieved 3.4~3.7?

I am having a hard time fitting 98 and 53. The spur won't line up with pinion

I could not push pinion any further or pinion will hit motor mount 68717 B.

This doesn't seem right

Am I blind or something?

Just file down the the aluminum holder, so you can push the pinion a little further. Good luck!

Thanks all. Flipped it but with this spur/pinion combo the only motor I have that would fit is the LRP. Since it the only one with front of the motor tapered. My other motors just won't fit right.

98 and bigger is what I have right now that would allow me to have an access to the rear motor screw. I will have to get something smaller.

Everything would have been alright but because of 17.5 blinky. Unfortunately 17.5 blinky is the most popular class locally.

With smaller spur I have to move the motor in closer. What motor are you using for 17.5? My Rev Tech and my DUO 1, it probably won't fit with smaller spur gear.

Howdy, any one know where I can get my hands on one of these HBS68705 - Hot Bodies 20T Center Pulley Big meeting in a month, mine looks rather secondhand so would be good to replace before then.
