I considered it...and a few others...but STLNLST usually comments about my lack of soul.

See you at the eye-eye-see. I'll be the slow T3 with no timing/turbo.

The WGT tire that's suppose to be the spec tire with the blue ring is Lilac. What color compound is the yellow ring tire?

Scotty is at the off-road nats right now so his response will be delayed.

I hope to see everyone going through tech this year.

We seriously tested the two Jaco WGT compounds at the Paved Nats. It is obvious that the yellow banded tires were not as fast as the old ones on the carbon fiber wheels. I assume that this was ROAR's reason for not allowing the carbon fiber wheeled tires for either qualifying or racing. Some did use the old ones for practice; but, were decidedly slower when they switched.

The new yellow foam compound itself is waaaaaaay too soft. In my mind, Jaco should make the yellow band as narrow as possible to improve the overall performance of their WGT spec tires. More black pleeeeze!

We all ended up cutting/rounding the tires at an angle to eliminate the contact patch of the yellow ring with the asphalt for the fronts. It seemed to really improve consistency. Before that we had cars doing weird things...

Andrew,

You're no fun. I was going to surprise them at the IIC. Now you have to come!
