Before I got scales I glued a thumbtacks to two six sided dice and used them as a balance. I marked the center of the chassis front and rear and used a sharp exacto blade to make a small dimple to place the tacks in so it would stay in the center.

Just read all 10 pages, tons of great info! Thank you for bumping this up. I will be going home to try this out on my TC tonight... it needs all the help it can get lately.

Like the guy ahead of me, I just read this thread since I am ready to work on my TC. Balance is something I knew I needed to deal with but wasn't sure how to do.

JUST CURIOUS, LETS SAY AFTER BALANCING THEM ON THE SCALES, ANYONE TRIED USING THE KNIFE TRICK to double check ?
