I run their 5000 20c,5000 30c & 5200 30c hardcase packs(in your pic) on all my onroad & offroad cars/trucks. My first pack puffed right away, first charge, all settings correct. Since then, I've never had an issue. Alot of guys run them without any problems,so don't hesitate to pick one up.

Here are a couple pics of my puffed Turnigy. Like I said,it was the only one I had a problem with. Out of 20 or so that others & I ordered, 1 puffed pack isn't bad.

The batteries work great, but I just wish that they used a reasonable size of wire. The 8 gauge wire is overkill, especially if you want to solder Deans connectors to them.

You are absolutely right about the wires. It seems like the wires that they are using with most of their packs are way over kill. Which makes installation kind of a PITA.

What makes it even more interesting is that the soldering on the banana plugs on these packs are absolute crap. On few of the packs I had, approx 75% of the strands were actually soldered to the plug.

And youd still be getting about much flow as 14guauge

I have had two of these as well. They never puff, Ive been charging and running them anyway I please besides storing them at partial charge. No babying them like most do with their higher end packs. Someone mentioned their voltage did drop a bit compared to higher end packs,,so if your running on road mod, you prolly wont be getting max performance as you could.

The wires coming out at the corner of battery, instead of middle?
How did you change this ?
